Aspiro is a not for profit social enterprise, providing end to end employment support for adults who are disadvantaged in accessing work or learning opportunities.
We provide advice and support for users of mental health services jointly with Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust - this is called the Mental Health Employment Service.
We also run the ZERO Project which recycles and upcycles business waste in Leicester City Centre and delivers a cost effective service and provides work & learning opportunities for Aspiro customers disadvantaged in finding employment.
Aspiro, based in Leicester city, provides a range of services across Leicestershire and Rutland and has helped over 1000 local people.
More than one third of Mental Health Employment Service customers find paid jobs and almost another half access volunteering, work placements, or learning opportunities. 7 out of 10 are still in the same employment after 6 months.
We have experience of providing specialised work and learning support to young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), recovering substance users, ex-offenders, forensic mental health patients, as well as adults with a learning disability.
